THE CRYING DEFENDERS

The world military have different ways and philosophy in the recruitment of it soldiers, some countries suppose compulsory military participation while some voluntary and some partial military participation.

In regards to the UN convention it is declared an illegal act to recruit child soldiers but we have seen people go against this rule with the likes of south Sudan, josephkony, Islamic sect warlords and several others. Going back to the two great wars fought in the world compulsory military participation was widely practiced and many were kicked in their ass to the frontline against their own will and even those that were motivated enough to volunteer ,they later found out that world war was no place of weapon fantasies but total horror. Many states have abolished the conscription therefore still reserve the right to resume it during wartime or crisis but to sum it all democratic countries are less likely to implement it than autocratic countries.

Going straight to the point I want to discuss the pains felt by Nigerians and other African countriesthat wish to join the armedforces, but were turned down.

STARTING WITH THE NON-COMMISSIONERS AND COMMISSIONERS

                      The problem arise starting from obtaining the form then ways to fill the form then sorting out the way to get the real school certificates  by going back to former schools and getting this stuff back comes with a lot of cash in demand $ no cash no testimonial. After that the next is finding a guarantor from your state of origin within specific rank from the armed forces. Then hustling to get indigene ship card then study hard for the exam, even at the exam hall you get your ass whooped for being sluggish during calling .After the exam you discovered your name isn’t in the list and when this keep happening for two years  or above you list interest and feel down. The worst is when you are chosen and then passed the screening but got shot by Medical screening or loose in the fucking military race then you feel like GOSH! SEE THE WAY AM HUSTLING TO DIE FOR MY COUNTRY AND AM BEING TURNED DOWN .I WONDER WHERE THE NEAREST EXIT IS .On social media I have seen people who applied for enlistment but turned down so therefore being outraged speak and bombard the government and military institutions with hate speeches and condemnation, Yes! The people are speaking their mind because the selective system is very much strange as some claim corruption has a work there. Some claimed its either you have a military godfather or your name is sold to another applicants.

                       But the points are based on the motive of the applicant,many wants to join for swag, money, to get employed. Power,authority,to keep them busy or to break boredom or work in a unit that will not take part in  life risking mission so as to stay alive MAN! THAT’S CALLED GHOST WORKING. If yourmotive falls into this category then I must say you missed road and have no right to condemn the selection board since your motive are not patriotic in nature. The truth is the armed forces need brave men who can stare war in the face, the country need genuine heroes that can defend to the last breath

But that’s so rare and the one that claim patriotism is just pure pretence.It is not a surprising thing to see soldiers siphoning money into their private accounts or aiding criminals and what they will tell you is that (Man! It Was Hell Before I Get Here but I Am Not Well Paid So What I Did Is toavengethe pain Of Getting Here!).

       In case if you don’t know the pains and rejection, humilations,frustration are just tips of an iceberg the war will give you more of the fuck you have never seen before. KNOWYOU’RE MOTIVE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TO THE AFRICAN GOVERNMENTS AND OTHER COUNTRIES INCLUDED

               I am not an advocate of world war 3 I am for peace but with the way global tension is mounting something might happen and countries will need able and unable, male or female, good or bad as far the person in question can contribute to a country survival in the midst of chaos. That is the time government will now be using all means to motivate and pressurize people into being conscripted compulsory, or not.

             What am I saying in essence all countries selection board should at least find way to comfort unselected aspirants and be able to share the pains of these guys because one day the world will need more than them

      SO TO CROWN IT ALL KNOW YOUR MOTIVE
