7 LESSONS THAT NDA ARMED FORCES SELECTION BOARD INTERVIEW TAUGHT ME.

I was privileged enough to qualify for the AFSB interview at the Nigeria defence Academy and I got 7 golden lesson that changed my perspective about life.

1.BROTHERHOOD

We were group into batches, state by state, chest number given room allocated, although in a state we are all contesting for few intakes available, but there is moment where we need to do things brotherly, the group obstacle crossing is a must! We come together to put our intelligence, strength to achieve the mission.

Even in the hostel at night, we on the look for each other , although some candidates brought in phones for external communication which is against the rule, other candidate watch for them, stay at the door way as a police to check if a soldier is coming while the candidates are charging their phones or gadgets. @afomicworld2021,do not copy

2.HUMILITY:

Cadet serving job

when we sit together at the lines in our white and blue, there are royal children among us, senators relative, rich men children, poor men alike, military brats, civilian brats, but NDA doesn’t care, you sit on the floor! Together in the sun for hours till the screening is over.

Even we were opportune to see Cadets everyday as the venue is at the NDA old site, Ribadu Kaduna, the way the officers and prep wingers or senior cadets treat the termer one cadets is regimented regardless of if the termer one cadet is the commandant son or senator son, and no one is above job (punishment). @afomicworld2021,do not copy

3.CAMAREDERIE

NDA candidates matched in batches

In NDA, we wake up at the same time, go for laundry at the same time, leave the hostel at the same time, go to the mess at the same time, go back to the camp at the same time, and undergo screening at the same time although in small batches.
