The virus has swept across the world, killing thousands and forcing millions into quarantine. Several nations have activated armed forces to help combat it.

CO-VID19 Update: USA Army Corp of Engineers Creates Alternative Care Facilities

Army Lt. Gen. Todd T. Semonite called it a "very complicated situation" during a Pentagon news conference today.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency gave the Corps of Engineers a mission assignment for planning and site assessments of alternate care facilities in response to the COVID-19 virus.

From 21st march 2020, as part of the effort to minimize the spread of CO-VID19 in Nigeria, the POLAC authorities have issued a letter to all Cadets to vacate the Academy premises at Wudil kano.Mean while In USA, Cadets have ordered to leave the premises also.

The Nigerian Army Council has meritoriously approved the grant of Concessional Commission in the rank of Captain to one Army Warrant Officer and One Master Warrant Officer that exceptionally distinguished themselves in the service of our beloved nation.

Those promoted are Army Warrant Officer Nwabueze Agbo, Master Warrant Officer Tijjani Namadi (the duo are promoted to the rank of Captain) and Master Warrant Officer Ibrahim Zakaria promoted to the rank of Army Warrant Officer.

Germany use its army to fight COVID-19



Germany is to deploy the Bundeswehr to help combat coronavirus, amid an epidemic that could put civilian authorities under unprecedented strain and severely disrupt the eurozone’s largest economy.

In an interview, German defence minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauersaid the army would be used to help treat the sick, resolve transport bottlenecks and provide essential support to police and local authorities as infection rates climb.

“We have called on all reservists, especially those with medical experience, to register with us,” she told the Financial Times. “We are providing healthcare professionals wherever they are needed.

In reaction to the US Department of State earlier  announcement of   $7 million reward to anyone that can provide credible information that will lead to the arrest of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau. Abubakar appeared in a new video in a show of force shooting at the sky claiming he is not afraid of trump.




Media personality @Bassim_AMG who covers reports on Terrorism, shared a video of the sect leader reacting to the $7 million bounty placed on him. According to the media personality, Shekau in a 26 minutes video, reiterated his views on ”US, Israel and Nigeria being infidel states with US being the headquarters of corruption.” The sect leader also reportedly said the US is fighting Islam in every possible way and questioned the US for putting up only N2.5bn or $7m as reward for his arrest.

Shekau is also quoted as claiming that the US cannot find him. He however stated that he is also not scared for them to find him as long as he is not an “infidel”. He celebrated the bounty by sporadically shooting a few rifles and a machine gun.
