NDA 74 Regular Course Entrance exam 2022 and What you should expect.

 

 

Candidates that applied for the Nigerian Defence Academy  74 Regular course and met all requirements by this time this post was written must have selected their exam center  as the chance to do it is closed .

 The NDA Screening Test or Entrance Exam as it is called would take place on 23rd April 2022 from 7.00AM , Its, not a CBT, but shading on OMR sheets.

 AS USUAL, THIS IS THE NORMAL NDA ENTRANCE EXAM SUBJECTS COMBINATIONS
1. Candidates For FASS. Candidates for FASS are to answer all questions in any THREE of the following subjects that are applicable to the candidate’s chosen course:
1) Mathematics – (Compulsory for Psychology candidates).
(2) Economics.
(3) Geography.
(4) History.
(5) Government.
(6) French.
(7) Biology – (Compulsory for Psychology candidates).
2. Candidates for Sciences. Candidates for courses in Faculty of Science are to answer questions as follows:
A. Mathematics (Mathematics and any 2 of Physics, Chemistry and Economics).
B. Physics (Physics and any 2 of Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology).
C. Chemistry (Chemistry and any 2 of Physics, Biology and Mathematics).
D. Biology (Biology and any 2 of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics).
3. Candidates for Engineering. Candidates for the Faculty of Engineering are to answer ALL questions in the 3 subjects listed below:
(1) Mathematics.
(2) Physics.
(3) Chemistry.
4. Candidates for Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies. Candidates for Intelligence & Cyber Security Studies are to answer the following:
A. Mathematics
B. Physics and
C. Anyone of Biology, Chemistry or Economics.

Important things to note.
1.Don't forget your documents ( unfortunately a lot of candidates are fond of this, ,its make the day stressful for them as they have to go back home or make amends at cybercafe close by)
2. Jamb Registration Slip as this year is quite different, EE is being held before Jamb.

3. 2 postcard photograph
4. Screening Test card
5. HB pencil (at least 2 in case)
6. Acknowledgement form

8.Face mask

9.No need of Calculator, it's prohibited

10. Females don't need to barb their hair. same with male, just any decent hairstyle is okay, at least a male will not want to go there with a plaited hair,-it leads to embarrassment.

If during your preparation, as at now you have not been practicing NDA compendium well enough, to the extent that you are scoring 35,38-40 in like 3 or four of your subject combination consistently then you are not prepared, you are only waiting for a miracle as your fellow statesmen somewhere are already though at this very time and only revising the compendium.

The truth is that one mark , or two marks is enough to either give you a place on the afsb list or get you out, if you think you are intelligent in your locality, NDAEE will prove your worth whether you are a local champion or a state Champion.

Shade Properly on the OMR sheet,or it can cost you some marks. 

Hold extra cash, you will need it.
Better still if you are going with a phone, go along with a friend to help you hold it, things can get missing even if you give a stranger your properties.
Be paranoid before you leave home but once you leave home, stop being paranoid.
Why? Always assume your documents is not complete, check them. Over and over again until you are sure it's complete, then stop being paranoid. Many candidates rush to the exam center thinking they have got everything thing but they forgot something, don't be among them
Wear a good jeans or trousers ,you are going to seat down a lot!
No specific dress code ( many funny candidates come in military boots or attire, you are not required to do that), just dress sensibly to avoid embarrassment.
Pray even if you read well
Be orderly, enjoy the moment, respect your follow candidates, you never know who is sitting next to you.

You need to be patient, as a lot of time will seems to be wasted that day, just keep calm.
Obey all instructions given by the military officials.

Don't be tense, it's just an exam and a little tip of an iceberg of military life, Enjoy and Savour all the moments,

if possible, make new friends although you will meet many at the AFSB interview so you can postpone that if you are not interested.
Do your exam quietly and leave the premises.
And hope for the best.

Names of the Successful candidates will be published at The armed forces selection board list some weeks later  on https://ndaapplications.net/ and https://nda.edu.ng/ and on  Newspaper in Nigeria.
