Here are five battles from American history where losing wound up putting the nation on the path to victory.

5. The Battle of Long Island:
George Washington's effort to hold off the British Invasion of New York could not have gone worse. Luckily, the Continental Army avoided complete annihilation by slipping across the Long Island Sound, under cover of darkness. The battle itself was a humiliating defeat for Washington. But, the loss also revealed an insight that was key to the ultimate American success: The Continental Army could afford to lose battles; but if it remained an Army-in-being, the British couldn't declare victory. Washington rightly surmised that, as long as the enemy couldn't win the war, they would eventually lose.
4. Little Big Horn:
Custer had better days. When his small detachment of the 7th Cavalry was wiped out on the Montana plains, there were big repercussions. After the Civil War, the lion's share of the military budget went into the Army's coastal fortifications. The Army ground forces were mostly a constabulary, second-hand lot strewn across the Southern and Western states. Custer's last stand was a bit of a wake-up call. Congress began to supply better arms and equipment. The Army started on the long march to becoming a modern landpower. D-Day was more than a half-century in the future. But the journey from the Spanish-American War to World War I to World War II started out West.

3. Kasserine Pass:
No less an authority than General George Marshall, the U.S. Army Chief of Staff, argued that the route to victory in World War II ran through Western Europe. The sooner the Allies invaded France the better. But to Marshall's chagrin, the American Army was detoured to North Africa. In its first major battle with the Nazis, the GIs learned they weren't ready for primetime. The list of shortfalls was long—bad senior leaders, poor air-ground coordination, inadequately trained troops, and on and on. Rather than being remembered as the horrific defeat that it was, the battle became the first lesson in learning how to win on the ground in modern war. Two years later, the Americans hit the beach in Normandy knowing far better how to confront the face of battle.
2. Task Force Smith:
North Korea invades. President Truman, while on break in Independence, Mo., quickly orders in U.S. troops. The closest forces are American occupation troops in Japan. Rushed to the front, they barely present a speed-bump to the invading army as it heads south. The tragedy of Task Force Smith is often recalled as a case study in unpreparedness. The troops had little training and rusty ammunition; some trudged to the front in sneakers because the Army was short on boots.
On the other hand, even if the task force had had been stocked by Rambo, the troops still would have been steam-rollered. The numbers they faced were just overwhelming. What's crucial about this battle is that it demonstrated Americans’ determination to act as a Cold War Asian-Pacific power, even in the face of defeat. There were terrible trials ahead—not just in Korea, but in Vietnam as well. Nonetheless, America stuck it out in Asia. Arguably that determination contributed to victory in the Cold War as well as the region’s development in the post-Cold War era.
1. Desert One:
Once the Iranian Revolution was underway, it became clear that the new regime in Tehran were not going to be our friends. Angry crowds seized the U.S. embassy. The staff was taken hostage. There were no signs the regime planned on giving them back. President Carter green-lighted a rescue mission by U.S. special operations forces. It does not go well. In fact, at Desert One, the designated landing site inside Iran, everything goes wrong. Nobody gets rescued. Servicemen die in a horrible, fiery crash. Maybe, technically this was not a battle, since the only enemies present proved to be misfortune and misjudgment.
Still, this was not one for the win column. But years later, the Senate Armed Services staff used the mission failure as a case-study to inform and push for joint reforms. Arguably, the operation was less about failures in joint-interservice cooperation than the staff contended. Nevertheless, highlighting the Desert One disaster served as the catalyst for the Goldwater-Nichols reforms, and those reforms helped revitalize the U.S. military in the 1980s.

However America still continue to be a home of the finest set of soldiers in battlefield.

THE WAY BAD EGGS ARE SPOILING THE MILITARY PUBLIC IMAGE

Thanks to movies that have always portray soldiers  as  Heroes that are hell bent on beating the crap out of an invader or laying their lives selflessly without thinking twice. Movies portray Military life well and real military men have many true stories to back heroism portrayed in movies up. Activities of the military, government in power, movies and ethics are a big factor for the military public image.
A good public image matters a lot for all, as individuals, or organization, if we don’t have a good reputation, things can go smooth as wanted. Activities of the military personnel on their duties assigned to them matters a lot. In some part of war-torn countries, some citizens of these war-torn western powers are seen as a savior to the world due to humanitarian activities, the military peace-keeping operations done while some citizen in this same war-torn zone in particular view the western powers as a beast and unjustified agent of destruction due to error in war operations which may include; drone operators mistakes, personnel bad misconduct friendly fires, enemies manipulation which have caused heavy casualties.
Here today I want to examine bad conduct of armed forces personnel and the word bad eggs surfaced here. A bad egg is the word used to describe the chief of army staff that diverted arms fund into his personal account. Bad egg is the word use to describe an infantry soldier that rape a woman all in the name of clearing a house of terrorist. Bad egg is the word use to describe a soldier that killed his fellow comrade in the name of jealousy; Bad egg is the word use to describe an intelligence agent selling classified information to the enemies. Bad egg is the name of a recruiting officer taking bribe to bring people in the armed forces. Bad egg is the word I use for any member of the armed forces involved in something that is against the rules of military ethics and humanity values. These bad eggs are the one spoiling the public image of nations armed forces, when these bad eggs rise becomes too much, ugly facts begin to rise. The Press begins to criticize the armed forces as a whole and publish many things about the particular armed forces in question regardless of former prestigious achievements of the armed forces. This is very heart-breaking to me because other guys that have worked so hard to perform their duties steadfastly get stained by the products of the bad eggs consequence on the military public image.
Here are cases of bad eggs ruining a good cause.    
1. Terrorist Attack: Nidal Malik Hasan  is an American revoked Major convicted of fatally shooting 13 people and injuring more than 30 others in the Fort Hood mass shooting on November 5, 2009.  Hasan was a United States Army Medical Corps psychiatrist who admitted to the shootings at his court-martial in August 2013. A jury panel of 13 officers convicted him of 13 counts of premeditated murder, 32 counts of attempted murder, and unanimously recommended he be dismissed from the service and sentenced to death. Hasan is incarcerated at the United States Disciplinary Barracksat Fort Leavenworth in Kansas awaiting execution while his case is reviewed by appellate courts. The attack was linked to Islamic terrorist, especially Anwar Al-Awlaki one of the lords of Al-qaeda. The sad part of this story is that this bad egg took the lives of his fellow unsuspecting soldiers that never thought of a mass shooting in a barracks in the United State of America.


2. My Lai Massacre:, My lai Vietnam On March 16, 1968, the Charlie Company, 11th Brigade of US army entered the village of My Lai, in an area of Vietnam where many members of the
American brigade had been maimed or killed by Viet Cong forces, PBS reported. The troops over reacted! And ended up killing over 300 civilians under orders from their Lieutenant, William Calley, who told his men to enter the village firing, though there had been no report of opposing fire, PBS reported. According to eyewitness reports, several old men were bayoneted, praying women and children were shot in the back of the head, and at least one girl was raped and then killed. The story did not reach the American public until journalist Seymour Hersh published a story detailing his conversations with a Vietnam veteran, Ron Ridenhour, in November 1969. The massacre raised significant questions about the conduct of American soldiers and their leaders in the field. The death and achievements of American soldiers in this operation was over-looked simply because some soldiers over-reacted! The world will not want to look at what the good thing that the american soldiers did because of Bad eggs!
3. Sambo Dasuki: is a retired Nigerian Army Colonel and former National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President of Nigeria. On December 1, 2015, Dasuki was arrested by Nigeria's State Security Service (SSS) for allegedly stealing $2 billion and accused of awarding phantom contracts to buy 12 helicopters, four fighter jets, and ammunition meant for the Nigeria's military campaign against Boko Haram Islamist militants. As of December 2017, despite being granted bails by four different High Court judges in Nigeria and ECOWAS Court, Dasuki has remained in detention. His actions  might have led to unnecessary death of brave soldiers fighting Boko-haram because the money meant for them to buy weapons and upgrade their old armoury have been allegedly diverted by this man. Bad egg!
3. Murder Cases: Amazingly many people that once served in the military have turned out to be mass shooters, serial killers and king pin of gangs. Their military training was a basis for them to even carry out their nefarious act. Many of these murderers have cited the psychological impact of their military training or wartime service as factors in their crimes. Some have committed their crimes while still in the services, or while clad in combat gear or while using military weapons. Some have talked about being attracted to the military by the opportunity to live out their fantasies of killing people.
4. Armed robbery: Many soldiers on active duties take their spare time or nights to collaborate with armed robbers in obnoxious activities. They also act as the one godfathers for cyber criminals. Bad eggs involved in armed robbery live a very expensive life to the envy of the public which some people might get misconceptions about the military actual salary.
5. Corruption and favoritism In recruitment: Though not legally confirmed, Corruption have a role to play in some countries armed forces. When it comes to due promotion. Some are promoted based on the fact that they have paid money secretly to the promotion board or racial discrimination. Rumors as i regard it have been going on around that in some African countries, you have to pay money secretly to a high ranking officer to act as a god-father in order to be recruited into the military or given a military appointment. The bad eggs involved in this case are spelling a bad news to the general public and to the world at large.
7. Deadly mistakes: This doesn’t need an explanation! We have heard news of air strikes being carried out mistakenly on school building, hospitals and friendly installations. The casualties of this situation are unimaginable. Its never a good thing to hear a news that one of your family member a soldier was unintentionally bombed by friendly airstrikes. The effect of this thing is that the mistakes made are what terrorist organization uses a military operation mistake as a justification for their own deeds. How can you imagine a young boy whose parents were mistakenly killed by peacekeeping forces, such boy can easily get recruited into a terrorist sect with just few words. This strategy is what Islamic extremist use in recruitment; they may look for girls that have been raped by soldiers or a child that have been orphaned by war, they try to convince people that soldiers are the main cause of their problems.
Air strikes and military operations should be carefully carried out if not the consequence breed more hate and strife instead of peace.
Conclusion:  A Yoruba proverb goes this way; oruko rere san ju owo lo (A good name is better than riches) and if I can recall the bible also say that. If you are in the military and it happen that you fall in the category of bad eggs, please make amendments now. There are good guys in the armed forces working earnestly to achieve their duties; it’s not good if a bad egg spill things. It messes things up.

THE PREPARATIONS FOR AFTER MILITARY LIFE.

            Hi hero, I am glad you are serving. It takes a lot of balls to sign up that paper before you become a military man. Maybe you have been deployed abroad or within the state of your country, here is what you should know. Sooner or later the civilian life that you are trained to hate, you will later come back to it. Honorable, General discharge, Bad conduct discharge, officer discharge, entry level separation or whatever means, one day you will get out of the military. You will then face the civilian world if your blood is lucky not to have been sacrificed on the altar of war.

            You are serving right now and obviously pay is coming in, though you are taught in the military to focus on your job while the government takes care of your life. It’s a good thing but the reality there is you are the one to take care of your life no matter who seems to be taking care of it now. They can’t be with you forever. You have to start saving money or investing now for unforeseen circumstances. Majority of the vets are not living a desirable life they were expecting. Many heartbreaking stories of countries owing retired military men pension and benefits especially in African countries. Many retired military men are living in poverty, struggling to make ends meet at old age. Their insurance is null, many that carried out intelligence service during their youth are now living under the fear of former nemesis they once helped their country to bust under cover, no security for them. Many in horrible living conditions even though there is pay. But keep calm there are also many vets that are living good live and some even made it to the world richest list. However that doesn’t mean that in the quest for more money in service we should become involved in some shady business where uniform can make one escape. Involvement in Politics or having a criminal gang to finance weapon isn’t a good idea.

Here is what you should do to secure a good military life after leaving it.

1.     Apply for university degree while in service: Depending on the constitution of your country, recruits may be allowed to study part time courses in normal universities after serving for certain years. Who knows if you might land in white collar job after military life, moreover it can boost your chance of promotion from NCO (Non Commissioned officer) to CO Commissioned officer.

2.     Acquire vocational skills: If you are in a period of relative and you are not deployed to combat units, make use of skills acquisition centre or program provided by your armed forces board, although it varies country by country. You can learn a skill; computer skills, fashion design, basket weaving, catering craft, photography, welding, bricklaying and the list goes on like that! You can also use it to make quick cash while serving or establish yourself after service.

3.     Save and invest and insure: yes! That should be a normal thing, even in the civilian world, saving is crucial. Invest in business and put somebody trustworthy to handle it; you may buy a farm land to give a family member to cultivate, you may open a restaurant or business and put somebody trustworthy to take care of it. The founder of Netflix, Reed Hastings was once marine officer, One of Africa (Nigeria) richest men Gen TY. Danjuma retired made his money from oil. Insurance in preparation for retirement and sudden death should also be a priority.

4.     Improve Personal Skills or talent:  Personal skills you’ve developed before or after joining the military can also help. If you are a martial art expert before there is possibility for you that you might be a martial arts instructor if the military asses your skills well, this was what helped the current director of combatives at the west point academy USA: Matt Larsen. Did you once live in a place close to the forest and you are expert in hunting, mix the hunting skills with military tactics and you may open a survival training camp after military life.

5.     Participate in Military sports you are good at: Sports can lead you to stardom especially when you are good at it. Boxing, swimming, football, shooting, rugby and other sports organized by the military you are into can make you rich and popular that commercial sport may choose to hook you up.

6.     Invest in your kids and family affairs: Send your kids to good school, ensure you want the best for them, support them financially and even if you might not be living with them, make preparations to make sure they have a bright future, maybe helping them utilize their talents well or whatever you can do! After retirement, your grown up children that have made use of the investment you did on them will begin to take care of you. You will be so much glad if your children are stars or rich.

7.     Help people: a saying goes this way “one good turn deserve another”. Help people during your military service, I have heard so many stories of vets that claimed during their deployment to combat zones they help people maybe through rescuing, financing ,mentoring, protecting, supporting. Those same people they once helped later hook up with them and helped in return.

8.     Do what you are to do well: are you an air-force pilot? Do it well because you might be opening your own flying school after retirement. Are you in the special force? Do it you might be running a security firm after retirement. Are you in the medical unit? You might be running your hospital after retirement. Are you in the accounting unit? Do it well you might get a job in a bank after being discharged. Whatever position you hold in the military can also help prepare you for a similar career in the civilian world.

9.     Pursue excellence and distinction: for those in a military academy, you should know that competition sharpen ones personality, work hard to top the board in all your courses. If you are deployed into troubled areas and you think you have the balls to rise against all odds at battle, show some act of valor in combat, this will earn you awards.

10.                       Do part-time business or job: If approved by your CO (commanding officer) you may be involved in part time business, maybe have a shop that sell provisions, act in movie, open a blog, teach, part time guard or whatever that is legally permitted.

THE USE OF MILITARY ALPHABETS AND CODES.

Have you ever watched a war film and wondered, “What’s a Foxtrot? Who is Charlie? Did someone say Tango?” These unusual words belong to a powerful code language known as the military alphabet. Servicemen and women use this language to improve clarity of communication, and sometimes as a form of slang.
The military alphabet consists of 27 code words. Each represents one letter of the English alphabet. For instance, “Alpha” means “A,” “Bravo” means B, and so on. Multiple code words often are combined to form words or expressions. For example, to say “dog,” one would say “Delta-Oscar-Golf.” None of the 27 code words sound alike, so there is no doubt what is said when spelling this way.

Use in the Armed Forces

You may have noticed that many english letters sound similar. For example, it’s common to mistake “B” for a “P,” “C” for “E,” and so on. For most of us, this sort of error might cause a mislabeled package shipment or a misspelled dinner invitation. However, for a soldier or fighter pilot, a misheard command or radio signal can mean life or death.
Therefore, radio operators in the armed services often rely on the military alphabet when sending codes or relaying important information. This ensures clear communication, regardless of background noise or radio interference.
In addition, men and women in the service often use the “alpha bravo charlie” alphabet as a form of shorthand or slang. Some popular expressions include:

• Oscar-Mike (“on the move”): a unit is moving between positions
• Charlie Mike (“continue mission”): a mission will continued following an interruption
• Tango Delta (“target down”): the enemy was eliminated
• Lima Charlie (“loud and clear”): confirmation of received instruction.
  

  Use Outside the Military

  Military alphabet has also proven a very useful tool in civilian life. Here are just a few examples:
  
• Commercial airlines across the globe use the alpha bravo charlie language to communicate flight coordinates and passenger names. Some airlines replace Delta (code for “d”) with an alternative word. This is to avoid confusion with Delta Airlines.  This is sometimes known as the Aviation Alphabet Banks, traders and financial institutions often use the military alphabet when ordering large transactions over the phone.

• Is Military Alphabet a Phonetic Alphabet?

  Many refer to the military alphabet as a phonetic alphabet. This is technically not accurate. A phonetic alphabets aids in the pronunciation of words. The military alphabet is used to spell out words, and is more correctly known as a “spelling alphabet”.
  
  

  History of the Military Alphabet

  Over the the first half of the 20th century, several different spelling alphabets came in and out of use. Then, in 1957, Nato and the US introduced a common system, which still remains in use.
  

  WW1-WW2

  The earliest use of into use during the early twentieth century. AM radio technology enabled pilots to coordinate with ground control, but poor signal and radio interference caused frequent errors. To solve this problem, flight associations started using code words to represent easily confused letters.
  During WWI, the British Royal Airforce introduced the first complete spelling alphabet, the RAF radio alphabet.
  Later, in 1927, the International Telegraph Union (ITU) developed a spelling alphabet for telegram communication. Over time, this system grew in popularity. By the start of WWII, most commercial airlines around the globe were using the ITU code words.
  The next major evolution took place in 1941, around the start of the Second World War II. At this time, the US introduced a standard spelling language across all branches of the armed forces. The Joint Army / Navy Phonetic Alphabet, also known as the “Able Baker Charlie” alphabet, can be heard in movies and TV shows dating from the 1950s. It has even made its way into modern cinematic depictions of WWII, such as Saving Private Ryan.
  

  1957 – Present

  In 1957, the U.S. armed forces and NATO adopted a common alphabet known as the International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet (IRSA), or the Nato Phonetic Alphabet for short. The ICAO (International Civil Aviation Authority) developed this system after years of careful research and testing. Critically, the ICAO tested each code word in many common dialects. As a result, the IRSA has stood the test of time as an international standard.
  The US government initially classified the IRSA as confidential, but soon later released it to the public.The IRSA remains in use today, and has only grown more popular with time. Today we have come to know this extraordinary code language simply as the “military alphabet.”
  however all the world military have agreed to use this code.
   

THE HEROINES AND HEROES THAT BREED HEROES

Whenever every one hear of people being awarded medals of honors, Victoria cross, order of service and so many damn inciting medals, it seems nobody remembers the real deal behind this people being called heroes, It their mothers and wives to be precise. Legit .Let go to the Past.

FLASHBACK

A young homo sapiens is born💑, looking mild and innocent, fresh blood from his mother shed coat his tender body all over. The mother just went through some damned pain more damned than the pleasure of nine months ago used to introduce this chubby gentle lad into the world. So meek that when the newborn child clocked 2 he can’t harm or kill a cockroach, all dependable that his bones depend on mammary glands fluids to stay strong. His mama taught him all things he need to know and his Dada  strained all his muscles to make sure there are provisions made for this little lad. At 7  this little lad love to follow his mama all the way downtown, helping Dad in the garage is not an exception even if carrying a car jack is too much for the little lad to carry. When being bullied at school his grandfather prove to send his feeble hands to take martial art classes and things worked well for the Lad even if he didn’t win a white belt or black belt. At college, the  Lad grew to become a high school IQ expert, championed all the subjects and win the heart of his teachers.

 However the little lad removed the title little when he clocked 17 and he was bearing all kind of nicknames, never heard of, mainly from his class mates, anyway he still remain a young Lad in this story, but he now hates following his mama downtown, and washing his father car have become a big liability that wasn’t there before, he hate all that stuff he once cherished now! However he remain a genius in academics. Dad now view him as a mystery Lad, disobedient all the same kind and brilliant with sense of humor.

The young Lad grew a to enjoy a wild life and exotic moments until he discovered a true sense of purpose- he decided to join a wing of his country armed force after seeing a national ad When mama heard, she was heartbroken and she tried everything possible to stop him, sweet words, nice meals, task and purpose but he remained adamant, when Dadda heard he grew white! And keep shouting – What! a waste of potential. His colleagues heard it, they envied him while some said, it was a waste of potential, discouragement, insults, sarcasm, euphemism, idioms, hatred, criticism the young Lad Overcame all until became a member of the armed forces! If defending his country is a crime, then he really wants to be guilty

This were the beginning of his problems, being a member of his armed force was no fun as he has expected, video games and movies didn’t tell him the true story of being a 24/7  soldier. Enforced obedience that can make him do 50 things without complaining made him to remembered 5 years back when he do complain of doing one more chore after finishing 6 house chores, yelling back at his mum but here now this grumpy sergeant that is not up to his age is barking out orders to him and he can’t even resist one. Now this young Lad thought he was a strong gym champion  but during training his muscles told him that those dumb bell he do lift during his civilians life is damned dumb. During Snipping class at the shooting range he learn the patience that he refused to exercise while he was a kid when mom was late to serve his dinner or soften his morsel of food, on the dining table over- anxiously waiting for food he had cried out until the empty cup on the dining table is full tears , but here he is now waiting all in the name of Patience to take out a dummy target. However nothing boring comes along without something horny. This Lad goes back home to get someone with emotions like his mama- he got a pretty wife back from his secondary school days. The wedding was a merry to the extent that the Lad Parents were so happy at least the bride is expecting an homo sapiens, a prototype to represent their own son, incase if his brain got blew out by an unexpected circumstance.-----------------Time flies *****

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!💣💣💥 The patriots call, the time has come for him to prove his guts, to stop expending his cartridge @ sandbags ,or stop giving martial art kicks @ dummies, to stop exhibiting camouflage, The time has come for him to ejaculate the tension built up in him, The time to prove he is no coward , the time to use all the hell borne training he have received, basically to defend but the reality of killing is not obvious until he venture into this big deal where boys are turned into men. His first kill gave him sleepless night, death of his combat mates warned him to be careful of Post Traumatic Disorder (PTSD) and as time goes on mortar strikes, tank roars.gas hiss, chattered and headless bodies, overflowed adrenaline and Golgothas are now a normal stuff for this Lad! To crown it all he is no longer a Lad, he is a Man!

Meanwhile, he is not the only one fighting this battle, his mom back home is spending so much time at prayer houses, pleading for protection over her son at the frontlines, his Dadda heart pounding so hard that each breath  taken sounds like the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki on the  morning of 6 August 1945.

His wife now looking pale, abandoned wearing make ups, clinging to her cell phone and TV for news about the troops at frontlines and particularly news about him. So Lonely that when 💋👄👪💘horny no one can take his place, each time she see her child Junior it reminds her of the face of  her man fighting not the people he hates but  for his loves one he left at home. For real! Junior is now 3 yet he haven’t seen his father , junior only know the man in the big picture frame of his parlor as his father. So many rumours heard about him, even the wife friends cajole her into taking on a new cock but she insist her man lives on.

Missing in action or AWOL no body at home knows. The man have ventured into the real trades of war, form a bond with his comrades as bands of brothers, loosed so much blood and covered great deals of kilometers on foot just to bring the enemy down or escape being captured. Out of ammo, food and communication he is never going to give up as the rules says Leave no man behind, his comrades he saved to be safe until the mission was accomplished  then chopper arrived to take them home where he will no longer be a mere man he is now a HERO

Hero came back home to be greeted with shinning medals that could open a blind man eye, so many awards that make his dad cry for joy, wife diagnosed with joy overflow. When junior saw him he could barely recognize his father.👼👼💧

The hero knew he was not the hero but those that have painstakingly fight the results of his absence at home, they waited for a supposed dead man. Now he is being crowned a hero and his bank account balance flowing so long like a telephone number, as many organizations recognize his feats, a hero indeed but when he look at his grandpa, Dad, mum, wife, son and bosom friends, their appearance  look like they are the one that deserved to be the one called the backbone of his heroic feats. It is his nature to be kind and gentle and humane, but remember when  it comes to matter of protecting his country, his family, fear him for he is also  the most deadliest one who is more powerful and lethal and relentless.

A hero born and breed by heroes and heroines a Hero he remain indeed.💪💪💪💪👆👆👆👉👉HERO.

The absent Presence

Boots thumps getting louder

Delivered Rpgs speaking Better

Men of Valor been sprawled to the earth

Ducking beside the greens to hide from the birds that spit death

Artillery report  now getting closer

He thought he was the only specie  around but he was wrong.

I was there, but he couldn’t hear me scream further

I was secured tightly by the bags amidst others

And he was doing everything to stay alive as the bells rung

Yet I was the most stubborn cell shouting his name

I heard his conversation with another comrade

As he barked orders into the radio without shame

Mortar strikes! Airstrikes! Mines detonating pore

He thought he will be the last man of his kind to die.

But we were in the middle of his legs squeezed together

The whole field was  totally extempore 

And the dark clouds loom overhead with the raid

In a Flash! We were moved with him to do the impossible

He moved us along his comrades to perform the Herculean

He detest a Pyrrhic victory for his country.

So it is! The cowards fled like spoilt bean

In the bag between his legs I dance for joy with my future competitors

Sounds of Victory Rocked the town to the core

He danced with his comrades to end the cowards

Yet he never knew we fought the war with him until I was born.

A LETTER TO THE UNITED NATIONS ORGANISATION

Oh! bond of nations coming together to form a league

that is stronger than the league of nations

in other to prevent nations at loggerheads against each other

obviously tired of the failure of league of nations to prevent the second great collision

San Francisco witness all of that just on 24^th October 1945

where many battle-tired nations came together to hook up in order to put an end to mess.

oh dear united nations , you came alive by then not for less.

 fixing the problem of hate

the third world countries you did your best to help them

even though the world problems  are not totally solved 

you guys never stop working to achieve your manifesto

all the workers of the world feel thy impact

school children love your awesome holidays

though many never know the source of the toe.

kudos to those u.n workers both civilian and men in uniform

those who lost and still have their lives during peace keeping operations

but some of those being assisted by their efforts misjudge their intentions

and got misled by mere propaganda thinking their county was being invaded

took to arm themselves against the u.n workers

relief planes being shot down,red crosser being maimed aid workers being blown up.

heroes being sent early to another realm.

oh!!! u.n.o you tried your best.

when serious epidemic diseases invaded

u.n.o swung into action to give it all of their best shot

yet more still keep coming up

and u.n.o too won’t stop giving in their best

never stop reading books and doing research to combat this strong nemesis of mankind.

we are in the end-time, many says that a lot

nuclear threats and terrorist groups have robbed the world off its value

nations in u.n.o no longer co-operate with each other

they carry own their sovereignty with pride

if not controlled it can result to only cockroaches surviving the fury of nuclear warheads

then man will return back to the stone age or into extinction

and then earth will rest from the trouble of man.

oh nations of nations let come back together

to unite against dis-unity

lets beat our sword into ploughshares

let the u.n.o have it real meaning

and the world will be a better place to live

for  mankind and all kinds to live

lets the unity begin with you.
